Being primarily a destination wedding planner, it isn’t very often that I get to work with clients who’s families I’ve know for years. Back in the day, before I was a full time wedding planner, I used to manage a lovely little Italian restaurant that had the sweetest regular customers. This couple dinned there many times with the groom’s family and I remember distinctly the first time I met the bride. She was super friendly and really funny. I am not sure how we came around to talk about wedding planning, but when I told her about my business she started following me on social media right away. I always hoped one day I would get a chance to help her and her fiance (then boyfriend) plan their wedding. Fast forward about 5 years, I got just that email from her and I was over the moon!

The wedding itself was hosted at their family country club, just minutes from the bride and groom’s new home. Instead of getting ready photos at a hotel, they wanted to capture getting ready at their house with their cats. Some of the decor highlights included the dreamy flower hedge wall at the alter, a super classy grey, black and gold motif, and a wine themed guest book.

Not only was this wedding beautiful, but it was so fun! The couple chose an all star cast of my favorite vendors for photography, music, and entertainment. The toasts were a blast and several of the guests were customers from my past career. It meant so much to me that they chose me after all these years to be part of their wedding.
