Gosh, how am I so freaking lucky to work with such nice people?! These two may have taken the cake for 2019. They reached out to me with just over 6 months to plan their wedding and we knew we would be a great fit right away. They wanted a wedding that was intimate, fun and really beautiful. Not only did they want us to plan and design their wedding, but they also hired us to fully plan and design a luau style rehearsal dinner for all of their guests the night before the wedding.

Its not often that we get to plan multiple events for our clients and their guests. What made it so fun was that we had a chance to get to know the couple as well as all their family and friends over the course of several days. When you put so much heart into events, it makes it extra special when you end up feeling like part of the family by the end of the wedding festivities.

There we many design elements that I loved, but some of my favorites included the ceremony flowers with the most epic view, the massive greenery chandelier in the barn and the after party to go wedding favors. When our team was arranging the ceremony flowers on site, we were all swooning with how dreamy everything looked. Some of our favorite products were in season for this spring wedding and they brought the floral design to a new level. The 5’ round greenery chandelier in the barn was a huge feat. Not only was it a challenge to transport, but it took five men on ladders to hang the thing. Although it was a challenge, it turned out even better than I imagined. The after party to go favors were the brides idea. They chose a venue with a 9 pm end time and she knew the guests would want to carry the party on into the wee hours elsewhere. To facilitate that, we set up a build your own favor station at the reception exit. A selection of mini liquor bottles, beer, champagne and mixers were displayed with cute favor bags already stuffed with monogrammed beer cozies and bottle openers.

Although the design of the wedding was amazing to work on, what truly made this wedding special was this couple. They were some of the nicest, most organized and appreciative people I’ve ever worked with. That winning combo has officially dubbed them LLW dream clients!
