Late Night Snack Ideas
Late night snacks are a timeless wedding food trend that we absolutely love! Presenting your guests with something tasty towards the end of the dance party (and open bar) is always appreciated! When choosing what types of snacks to serve at the end of the night, we love when our clients choose something that is nostalgic. Whether it is something from your childhood or a casual date night guilty pleasure, choosing something with a theme or story behind is always fun.

Local Favorites
Want to incorporate a little local flavor into your celebration? A great idea is to infuse a taste of Hawai’i in your late night snack line up! These “grindz” are our favorite foods that we grew up eating, bringing back so many precious memories. As we say in Hawaii, kanak attack!
Musubi - SPAM, salmon, chicken katsu or whatever you prefer, these are great for on-the-go.
Malasadas - Portuguese fried donuts coated with sugar. Check out the famous Leonard’s Bakery!
Lumpia - Filipino fried spring roll filled with sweet or savory fillings.
Teri burger sliders - A twist on the classic hamburger with teriyaki sauce.
Saimin - Noodles + dashi = simple yet savory for those cooler nights.

Milk & cookies - Classic chocolate chip with a shot glass of milk.
S’mores - To be enjoyed around a fire pit.
Ice Cream or Popsicles - Think ice cream bar with endless toppings.
Churros- Serve with a chocolate or dulce de leche dipping sauce.

Espresso Bar - Think custom coffee drinks to go.
Savory
French Fries - Classic + sweet potato with a variety of ketchups and sauces.
Grilled cheese - Always great with a tomato bisque shooter.
Hamburger Sliders - Tray passed or made to order.
Pizza - The ultimate comfort food.
Chicken & Waffles- Bite sized and drizzled with maple sriracha.
Once you’ve selected the perfect late night snack for your celebration, don’t forget about the presentation! There are many ways to serve up this surprise special treat. In the past we’ve done a french fry station, tray passed fresh malasadas, and musubi wrapped and displayed at the exit for guests to grab for the ride home. Incorporating custom menus, labels or packaging is always a nice touch to tie this last edible memory of your celebration in with the rest of the event.
No matter what you choose or how you present it, your guests will be thrilled!
We hope this article inspires you to choose a late night snack that will make your special day extra memorable.
