Have you ever seen a bride in a red wedding dress before?! Me neither…and I freakin’ LOVE it!

When I first met this couple, I knew we were going to be a match made in heaven. The bride had a clear vision that she wanted things quirky, casual and non-traditional. She envisioned a backyard BBQ vibe with tons of colorful tropical flowers, live music and a wedding dress that would look spectacular on her!

Between the super fun style and the all star cast of wedding vendors, this wedding was a blast! The day started with the bride asking me to surprise her with the ceremony location. She just couldn’t decide and she wanted me to get creative. Once our team got to the venue we came up with a game plan and designed the rest of the event’s layout to accommodate a smooth flow.

Once the guests arrived, the fun began. It all started with the bride, groom and their families getting a sneak peak of the set up before there were taken to a secluded part of the venue to take photos before the ceremony. The guests were wow’d by the view upon arrival. The ceremony itself featured a unique seating arrangement, giving the parents a special view of the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed fun appetizers like mini loco moco and crunchy spring rolls. The reception took place under a canopy of string lights. Our team created a beautiful tablescape of petite tropical arrangements grouped together with tropical fruit. Once guests sat for dinner, they enjoyed a family style meal with a variety of upscale island fusion BBQ style dishes. In place of dessert the bride and groom shared a ube custard tart before their first dance. Once the dancefloor opened everyone danced to the music performed by the live band under the night sky.
