This bride + groom and their wedding day hold a very special place in our hearts. Do you remember following hurricane Lane in the news this past August? Well, the day it was scheduled to slam into Oahu, just so happened to be this couple’s wedding day. The days leading up to this wedding were some of the most trying we have ever experienced for our clients AND our team. Not only were we having to creating plan B, C, D, and E while arranging flowers in record time, we also had to keep our cool when we were almost as distraught about the situation as our couple. I might have a few extra grey hairs now.

The good news is that we had faith that the storm would dissipate and we soldiered on in the days leading up the wedding. It was literally the morning of the wedding when we finally found out that we were in the clear. The venue and all of our amazing vendors came through and the wedding went on without a hitch. I just want to say, we were already thrilled that we wouldn’t have to cancel the entire wedding, but when the wedding went off 100% as planned, with not one drop of rain, it felt like a frickn’ miracle!

It goes without saying, that night after the event, we all slept very soundly.
