It seems a bit funny calling a wedding with 200+ guests “intimate”, but that’s exactly how the day felt! This couple put so much thought and intention into their day, and it was so noticeable. The bride, who grew up in Hawaii, wanted the day to be fresh and tropical, but more of a romantic/sweet/cheerful tropical than a traditional tropical. This couple included a sake ceremony during their wedding ceremony to honor their heritage and incorporated pictures of their beloved late dog Bailey throughout the reception. We’re telling you, it was all so thoughtful and personal! In addition, the bride’s dad gave a super heartfelt speech about their family’s history and how they came to Hawaii and made it their home. It was such a cool way to tie together all of the intimate details of the day! And to end the night, the couple wanted to open a secret speakeasy bar to add some fun to the already raging dance party. This day was just plain fun, and we definitely kept the guests on their toes with all the fun little surprises!
