Amie and Jonathan
If you love the idea of a FUN wedding, this one is for you!
It all began with a planning consultation where Amie and Jonathan shared about their love of plants and dancing. It started off as a “getting to know each other call” but quickly turned into an excited conversation about creating a celebration that was true to who they are as a couple.
With both of them having busy schedules, they knew from the start that our Full Shebang service paired with our floral design services was going to be the best fit for them.
Over the course of planning the couple chose an all star cast of vendors. With their fun vision for food, decor and entertainment everyone was excited to be a part of their big date.
When we got to the design phase, we started with a classic green and white palette, but over time, the couple decided they couldn’t resist all the fun and bold colors of Hawaii that they love so much. In the end, we helped them navigate a balance of both looks through the flowers, rentals and the graphic design (which the groom designed himself)!
The wedding day unfolded beautifully. The bride and groom shared an intimate first look before being joined by their fun wedding party for photos. Upon entering the ceremony space, guests were welcomed with their own lei to wear. The ceremony was short and sweet. They had one of their close friends officiant and it was definitely a heart-warming moment. They shared their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. with the most perfect lush altar and the Mokoli’i Island in the background.
Cocktail hour was filled with delicious tray-passed appetizers and drinks! One of our favorite elements was the seating chart. The couple wanted a large greenery arrangement to serve as the background of their acyclic hanging seating chart and our floral team did a wonderful job executing the vision.
The wedding reception at Paliku Gardens was one of the prettiest and most memorable ones we’ve experienced to date! In particular, we adored the table scape designs and love how the flowers were illuminated under the twinkle lights. The hanging lanterns elevated with hanging bougainvillea served as the perfect focal point towards the dance floor, where the bride and groom performed an epic dance routine with their wedding party (fun fact, both the bride and groom are dancers and met through dance)!
They were then joined by the rest of their wedding guests as they danced the night away only stopping periodically for some photo booth time here and there.
