Whether you are planning a destination wedding or not, chances are there will still be a number of guests who are flying to the island to celebrate with you. This sweet couple, having recently moved to the island, was very excited to share their new home with their many out of town guests. Our team worked closely with them to plan their perfect celebration.

Over the course of a year we worked together to craft their dream wedding in one of the most picturesque places in Hawaii, Kualoa Ranch. The bride had a really fun vision combining sweet vintage looks with mid century modern elements. The pastel colors were a lovely nod to the spring season and all the beautiful delicate flowers that were available that time of the year.

Some of my favorite elements of this wedding included the vintage audio guest book, the fun graphics, the adorable pink horse trailer bar, the vintage inspired cake and the drop-dead-gorgeous wedding dress.

Everything came together beautifully on the wedding day! Guests were delighted to be served champagne spritzers with fresh flower garnishes upon arrival. The light hearted ceremony brought lots of laughs and a few heartfelt happy tears.

During the cocktail hour, the couple honored the bride’s heritage by doing a tea ceremony with both sets of parents.

After an island inspired family style meal, a few toasts and a cake cutting ceremony, the bride and groom were wonderful sports when we had to improvise the first dance location while a rain cloud passed. Luckily for everyone, the shower passed quickly and after a quick dry off of the dancefloor, everyone was able to dance the night away.
