Juvie and evan

Juvie and Evan’s journey to us began with a scroll through Instagram, but what truly drew them in was the warm personality they felt from our website. From our very first conversation with the couple, we knew they would be a joy to work with. The bride grew up in Hawaii and their vision was to share a bit of Hawaii with all their closest friends and family.

Over the course of working together, we came up with a dreamy soft tropical aesthetic that we tied together with our floral designs. Incorporating the couples heritage was another important aspect of the vision. We love how it all came together to create a one of a kind celebration for these two.

Their wedding day unfolded at the picturesque Paliku Gardens. To begin, guests received a lei upon arrival before heading to the look out point where the ceremony was held. The ceremony featured flower bros who handed out beers to the guests on their way down the aisle, setting a lively and fun tone for the rest of the night. The couple added personal touches into their ceremony with both a unity candle lighting and a unity shot of sake.

To kick off the reception, the bride surprised her new husband with a hula after their first dance. The guests enjoyed a dinner of local inspired dishes, while the bride’s dad played a beautiful spanish guitar piece for the couple that had everyone in tiers. During the meal, the couple surprised the guests with lion dancers to highlight Juvie’s Chinese heritage. The night ultimately ended with everyone on the dance floor and the bride and groom surrounded by their closest friends and family.
