This wedding was one for the books! The bride was a visionary who absolutely loved design (much like us). She was super fun to collaborate with because she was extra in all of our favorite ways! Her chic Chicago eye created such an incredible editorial style look for their special day (including a custom made wedding dress).

The couple hired us for full service planning and design and we were SO excited to get out of our comfort zone. Throughout the entire event we aimed to bring in elements to honor the brides Chinese heritage. She hand wrote thank you notes in each guests red envelope escort cards, there was a delicious dumpling station during cocktail hour, a “double happiness” neon sign on the bar written in Chinese, custom chopsticks, and a unique bamboo steam basket dessert display. Aside from being big on design, the couple were also big foodies (like us). As a result, the day was filled with many photo ops, satisfied smiles and full bellies!

We were fortunate with great weather on the wedding day + got to work with a couple new (to us) vendors. After the reception, the guests had an epic dance party under the twinkle lights with red glow sticks! Overall, this wedding (and the couple) was one of our favorites of 2022.
