With all the hoopla surrounding wedding traditions, this couple decided they wanted to do things a little different. Instead of the dramatic ceremony entrance, traditional dances and speeches, they chose instead to host an epic dinner party in paradise. Aside from serving amazing food and drinks, the flowers were a top priority for this bride. If you know anything about us, food and flowers are the best way to become our BFFs.

The day of the wedding, the weather forecast was quite ominous. With a 90% chance of rain and thunder storms, we made some last minute modifications to what was supposed to be an open air reception. As the hours passed and the weather forecast continued to update, the rain never ended up coming. This being one of the worst weather forecasts I’ve had on a wedding day, we all felt very lucky!

To make the day extra special, the bride and groom spent the morning hanging out with their friends and family. All the ladies received beauty services at the venue and the guys were shuttled to the venue later in the day after a day of hanging out at the pool and drinking beers.

Instead of a traditional seating configuration at the ceremony, the bride and groom walked over to the ceremony site with all their guests. The groom’s cousin performed a short and personal ceremony while guests sipped cocktails from coconuts.

During the cocktail hour, the bride and groom escaped to the beach to go take photos and when they returned everyone sat down for a family style feast. Although they had not planned on doing toasts, friends and family stood up throughout the dinner to say a few words in honor of the newlyweds. Everyone danced the night away under the stars.
